A good shot should not be punished.
There is no doubt about it – Gut Lärchenhof is one of the most attractive and interesting golf courses in Germany.
The signature course fulfils all the criteria of a top, world class golf course. With the incomparable philosophy of Jack Nicklaus, the course is challenging, diverse and also fair. Its architecture follows the principles of Jack Nicklaus: "A good shot should not be punished.".
Up until now the Stadium Course is the only course in Germany which has been designed by Jack Nicklaus.
The philosophy involves rewarding players who use intelligence and precision instead of strength. The degree of difficulty was designed so that both the final part of the “front nine”, as well as that of the “back nine” belong to the most challenging holes which ensures an exciting finish. Each individual playing range was individually modelled, all drive zones designed so they are visible and the hilly green landscape demands precise and short playing. The greens were constructed according to USGA standard and meet the highest European standards.
